1. Horizontal machine center

An automatic pallet changer (APC) can be installed to reduce loading and unloading time. APC consists of six, eight, or more pallets. The workpiece can be placed in the pallet, and the machine can be programmed to complete the last pallet. After work, replace another new tray. Different workpieces may require different programs. Due to the high material removal rate and large tool volume in the machining process, the tool magazine has more critical requirements for the position of each tool, and the relative weight is becoming heavier and heavier. 2. Vertical machining center

In this machine, multiple tasks can be completed in one sitting. Most vertical machining centers are three-axis, and some also have the function of a spindle head, which can rotate on one or two axes. The vertical machining center is most suitable for the mold and mold processing industry. The central vertical machining centers are walking columns, gantry structures, and multi-spindle.

 

3. Universal machining center

A universal machining center is similar to a horizontal machining center. Still, the spindle can be continuously tilted from a horizontal position to a vertical position under the control of a computer. The universal machining center is composed of five or more shafts. The top surface of the workpiece can be installed on the horizontal machining center so that different sides of the workpiece can be processed in one unit.
